New Rem Oil is NOT the same as Old Rem Oil
The old Rem oil and Rem Wipes smelled like traditional gun oils.
The new Rem Oil is like a bottle of plain mineral oil. The viscosity and smell are completely different than the old Rem Oil (not in a good way).
Sad that I brought the new Rem Oil and Rem Wipes over the Remington traditional formula (pre-bankruptcy and sale).
Hard to find quality products these days.
Not good for semi-auto pistols
I see at the range, pistols that have Rem Oil on then do function well some of the time. I tell my deputies not to use it on their pistols.
Terrible
This is the choice of those who are " first time shooters " and buy it " 'cause it says Remington on it. " - Anything else works better.
