well made cartridge gauge
With a cartridge in the gauge, the micrometer is at the bottom of the scale. It would be better if the zero were in the middle of the scale.

It Gets a 5 and a 2
I'm using it to check both my head to ogive length and the headspace against SAAMI specs. For those two purposes this is a great tool. Easy to use, reliably repeatable measurements. Then there's the contraption to measure how long your chamber is in your rifle. I fiddled with that thing for an hour and couldn't get it to work. All it did was infuriate me. Bottom line is that the gage part is great and I recommend it for quick measurements. Just save yourself the blood pressure spike and throw away the stupid cartridge thing as soon as you get it.
