Ok for range use

Bought these covers for my hunting rifle and the front cover lasted two days. The cover snapped off tracking a deer through semi-thick brush. As I hunt in brush and do many deer drives, I need something more durable. It would be better if these covers folded back completely against the scope when opened, on both the front and back covers. Since they stay open in an upright position, anything you catch the front cover on will snap the fragile plastic, causing the cover to be completely worthless.
