Excellent product by surefire, the X300u-b is unmatched in my opinion! Rock solid on my Glock17 Gen 3. Excellent light output, I can illuminate my barn from my back porch, which is 56 yards away, just like it were day time! Great splash and great throw! Im glad I ordered from Brownells, knowing I received an authentic Surefire product! Thanks again to the good honest folks at Brownells!

Light up the night

This product was easy to install on my SIG 320. I plan to use this primarily for home security. The light is very bright and will light up the night. Couple this with the hand held surefire strobe you will freeze the culprit and this will certainly make them think they are now at a severe disadvantage. The weight does not make the barrel heavy and this may help to reduce recoil.

Best pistol light out there!

Super soild Surefire product. Best pistol light on the market. I have both the x300u-a (on my G5 Glock 17) and the x300u-b (on my G5 Glock 19) and the "b" version is by far the superior option because it is more secure. 1000 lumens and 11,300 candela for threat identification and blinding abilities make this the choice of Warriors.

great for the price

I have a very old 300, used it for years, it is great inside. But with the additional lums this light is solid and runs it beam a lot farther out for night use outdoors. And I know Surefire backs up their products.

First Weapon Light purchase

Product itself was recommended by LE relative. Product appears to be of great quality. Easy install; however, instructions appear to be somewhat unclear - nonetheless, easy enough to install. Product is easily transferable between handgun to rifle with picatinny rails. Would purchase again, DEF!

Great product as per usual

Purchased this end of last summer at Brownells because I wanted a dedicated light and a piece that can go on an AR or pistol. The multi faceted use for this unit hard to beat. I'm not LEO or military but avidly practice and carry everywhere every day. With the 600 lumens, you better practice the proper use and implementation of this light. Throw it up on a white wall and it will blind you momentarily. Great product and I will probably most likely purchase a second unit, though a different version
