Great value for the money
This is a week built front rest. Plenty of weight to make this front rest unmovable when shooting. Elevation and windage adjustments are very smooth. If you're looking to get into benchrest shooting and are needing a good quality front rest, you can't go wrong with this one.

Steady as a Rock
This thing is very steady the weight keeps it in place. I was a little worried about how effective the windage adjustment was going to be, well not to worry, it is very smooth an has plenty of range at 50 as well as 100 yards. I am using it for rimfire at 100 yards and it made a diierence immediately. It is easy to level the rest and that translates to a rigid foundation for your rifle.

Simply the best front rest!
This rest is by far the best rest I have ever used. It is heavy though, so you'll want to think about that before buying. The rest is just great to shoot off of. It does not move even a fraction of an inch, when your rifle is fired. It has more elevation adjustments then I can see anyone ever using. The windage adjustment is smooth and deliberate and coveres a wide area.

American Made work of art
Comes unassembled which is really smart since the base weighs in at 30lb, it would probably self-destruct given the way things are typically handled in shipments. So I have to say it's a good thing that my tap-and-die set included a 1/2-20" tap as I found it impossible to thread the rear 'Speed Screw' assembly into the base (could not get it started into the existing thread no matter how careful and methodical my attempts were). Once I ran the tap though it threaded-in perfectly with no drama. Could have been the minor oxidation on the base thread? Not sure but doesn't matter now. Assembly instructions are excellent. Once together this rest is a work of art, no compromises.

Competition shooting rest great but could use 2 improvements
Rest is rock solid and very adjustable. Instructions could have been better. My order was missing a couple of screws which Brownell's customer service overnighted to me. Two suggestions for improvement. 1) base is VERY heavy and difficult to get your hand under to lift off the bench. Add a handle that is raised. 2) fine elevation screw at the rear is VERY tall and depending on the length of your forend and how you position your rifle, the screw may lie directly under your magazine and prevent removal without raising the rifle. Shorten the screw. I found some parts at McMaster Carr and made a shorter screw which solved the problem.

Great rest
Rock solid piece of gear. Looks good, operates smooth and flawlessly. Nice low profile and plenty of height adjustment. I personally like the larger adjustment knobs. Center indicator for windage would be a nice touch, but not a burden. If you’re looking for a no frills front rest without breaking the bank, this is the one.

Professional Benchrest Front Rest - Simply as good as it can get!
Simply put, this is the best front rest I have ever owned and I’ve owned a few of them. This rest is rock solid with very precise adjustments, that hold for you while taking your shot. I shoot free recoil and it just doesn’t get a whole lot more solid for shooting, than what this rest is. A major point for the rest, as I shoot left handed, is that it is totally ambidextrous. It is just a solid, precision made range tool. Just great!

Sinclair Competition Rest
This product exceeded my expectations in every way. Finally shot using it a few days ago and I am impresses. Super pleased with the quality of the product. Shipping was fast and it arrived in perfect condition. I also purchase about 7 additional accessories for this rest. I will not review each one separately but categorize them as meeting the same excellent standards as above.
