Scope Setup
These alignment rods work perfectly. They are easy to use and should last forever. I don't know of another way to check scope ring alignment.
Scope alignment rods
I prefer 2-piece scope mounts, so these rods make it easy to see any misalignment there might be. The only down side is that you can easily see how far off you are, as not all receivers are properly drilled

these are made of aluminum too soft so easily damaged
should be made of steel
