Limb saver

Limb daver saves my shoulder from bruising. Great product. Any large rifle rounds will feel a lot lighter recoil.

Just about a perfect fit!

Bought this recoil pad for my Marlin 336 and the fit was so close to perfect I didn't have to do anything except to re-drill the screw holes to make it perfect! As always Brownell's processed and shipped my order super fast. Thanks

300 Win Mag Rem. 700 LSS

I replaced the factory Rem. pad on my 300 win mag with the LimbSaver, it fit great and was easy to put on. First time at the range I fired 18 handloads running 3185 adv-fps with 180 gn. Nos partations and the felt recoil was nill still has the push and muzzle jump but recoil is really cut to very mild. It made a really big difference and I would recommend this pad for anyone that needs to soffen the recoil of a hard shooting rifle, it worked on my 300 Win Mag, best thing I have done to that rifle. I always used a lead sled before when shooting the 300 win mag at the range, now that is not necessary, I can use the bi-pod and shoulder the rifle right, the limbsaver made it enjoyable to shoot.

Fits Marlin 444/336 wood stock

A near perfect fit believe it or not. External profile was near spot on but holes for wood screws needed a small amount of massaging to fit the 444SS pistol grip stock. A very nice recoil pad however.

Excellent product.

Most people use the grind to fit limbsaver recoil pads on their Benelli's. I used this one per limbsavers cross reference suggestion. This was very easy to adapt to the Benelli M1 Tactical Pistol Grip Stock. It is SIGNIFICANTLY softer than the grind to fit models. Even 3" mag rifled slugs are a breeze to double tap on.

Not Even Close

This thing is supposed to be "pre-fit". It isn't even close, and its construction makes it obvious where it has to be ground to fit. Just get the grind to fit pads and save the disappointment.

Not Easy To Install

Simple installation stated on the package, however installation screws's are not supplied. After a conversation with Brownell's customer service; I was informed installation hardware is not available to be ordered as there is none specified in Brownell's catalog. Brownell tech service stated I would have to find the appropriate hardware and then modify the stock holes to accept the hardware and recoil pad. Not an easy installation as advertised and one that I do not want to undertake. As far as I am concerned, the item is un-useable as advertised and shipped. I do not recommend this item.
