Wonderful tool
I bought a less expensive sight pusher from a different businesss and learned my lesson. I then bought the Range Master Compact universal Tool from Brownells. Best price and the item is of excellent quality.
A true day and night difference.
Excetional Tool!
I bought a new S&W Shield 9 Plus with night sights. I realized the front sight was dead, and S&W sent me a new night sight immediately. I didn't have a sight mover that would fit this pistol, I have a different model MGW I use for Glocks which I really like, so I chose this one for the Shield. This sight mover locks the slide in a rigid frame and you line up the pusher with the sight, tighten everything, put on some leather gloves, and twist. No pounding, no heat, no scratches, or other damage. It took about an hour for me to figure out how all the pieces went together and about 5 minutes to remove the defective sight and another 10 minutes to install the new one. The only shortcoming I can point out is that the written directions were difficult for me to understand and I couldn't find an internet demonstration of the use of this mover. I would recommend this tool if you are unable to find a suitable sight mover for your specific firearm or you plan to work on several different makes of firearms. It is an exceptional tool.

I had purchased another brand of sight press trying to save a little money, but after ruining a brand new sight , I quickly returned that one and found this amazing tool! After buying the new sight, I had both sights on in 15 minutes using this great tool! Spend the money, you will be glad you did!
Fit and finish is perfect
Theres something to be said about how satisfyingly perfect everything fits with this tool. The upper slides onto the lowers posts with a level of precision that leaves no wiggle. The pusher block is the same as well as the gun specific shoes. No wiggle, all fits with tight tolerances but enough for the pieces to move freely. This allows the tool to push sights on without shifting or marring the sight. Ive owned sight tools, but this by far is the best Ive tried. MGW did a great job with this tool.
Great sight pusher.
At first, there was some confusion. The MGW pushers have gone through rolling changes, and ended back at the original design. I have completed three sight changes with this item, and it made light work of all three. Two M&P and a Glock. This tool beats, tapping the sights with a punch and hammer, and allows for precise alignment. Knowing the shoes align the pistol has to be my favorite feature. Other pushers have several knobs, you have to adjust to get the slide straight. Buy with confidence.

Well worth the investment!
I bought it mainly to install taller sights on my Sig Sauer P320C that I mounted optics upon. The tool comes with two pusher blocks, one square for most standard sights and one with the 30-degree angle for Glock or HK sights. It's solid, won't mar with the adjustable, white Delrin inserts for the slide, and moves the tightest sights with ease. I wish I had bought one sooner. It can be adjusted to get down deeper on the side of a low-mount Novak sight like I have on some 1911s. The Youtube videos from MGW were a lot of help.
Quarantine Purchase
Bought this during the Quarantine of 2020. It was a good time to do a lot, if not all , the projects that get delayed during normal times. Replaced the tritium sights on all my handguns. And moving the sights after installation for sighting in was simple. Quality, over built, well thought out product from a company that listens to its customers and constantly makes changes accordingly. Best choice if you have a lot of different brands of handguns. Cheaper than buying sight movers that are brand/model specific.
Insanely well built.
Used the Wheeler site tool on my Sig P229, it took forever and still damaged the site. Purchased this tool and installed the new sites on the same Sig in 3-5 mins not a scratch on the pistol or the sites. The pushing screw is 4 times the diameter of the wheeler, with a very fine thread for easy adjustments, the slide guides keep the slide perpendicular to the pushing motion, the plastic shims protect your pistols finish. Do not settle for any other tool, you will not be disappointed.
