Great handgun dies

These Hornady custom pistol dies produce the most concentricity correct ammunition of any dies that I have ever used. This is most evident in loading 38 Special and 32 S&W Long Wadcutters Other dies leave bulges at the bottom of the Wadcutter bullet and the case where concentricity was not correct when the bullet was being seated. The seating die has an extension that keeps the bullet in alignment with the case during the seating operation.

Great reloading dies

I have been replacing all my handgun caliber dies with the Hornady Nitride 3 die sets. The resizing die makes fast work of the task of decaping and sizing the spent cartridge. The belling die makes belling the case a breeze and keeps it a uniform bell. The seating die has a sleeve that surrounds the bullet on the up stroke and aids in concentricity of the bullet. The tightening nut is a perfect fit for my Forster Coax Press.

Have set for 44 special and work just great, going to buy a set for my 45.

Reliable as anything from Hornady

Dies are easy to set up. Once you have them ready, all you have to do is lock them up. Next time you use them they are ready to go. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the crimp/seater die doesn't do a good enough crimp for an auto pistol. If you want 0 feeding issues with your gun, I recommend getting a separate roll crimping die and just use the crimp/seater die for seating the bullet. Other that that I recommend this product.
