The combination of limited chamber space and the large tube inside diameter needed for brush clearance eliminates the possibility of any type of chamber sealing o-ring. We have incorporated a front brass bushing, which centers the guide in the barrel extension and butts up against the chamber opening. The large o-ring on the back end locks into the bolt opening at the rear of the receiver to reduce longitudinal movement of the guide during the cleaning process.

I actually purchased this for my AR15 762X39. It works great.

Nice tool to use

Nice tool to use if opening AR like a shotgun to clean from chamber. It does keep solvents and oils out of trigger housing.

The fit and finish of this product is clearly top notch. Be aware that it does NOT fit DPMS G2 rifles; Dewey makes a special model for these (AR-DPMSG2).

Great cleaning aid

Works great and keeps your jag /loop or rod end from hitting throat area. Keeps everything out of the chamber and lugs very good tool.

Excellent Product

Nothing to it, fits in the chamber perfectly, guides the cleaning rod, o-rings seal up the chamber very well. Excellent product, wouldn't clean an AR15 without one.

I would buy this product again.

Works well. The only fly in the ointment is the "O" rings break, but from what I can tell that's a common issue among most or all makes of bore guides. They do include many years worth of spare "O" rings and a device that makes it a snap to replace one. I highly recommend this guide and would buy another to replace the one I have if I lost it.
