The storage-capable version of the flagship Magpul MOE SL™ carbine stock, the MOE SL-S (Storage) Stock is a direct replacement buttstock for AR15/M4 carbines. The sleek profile, dual-side release latches, and waterproof battery tubes make it the slimmest storage tube stock available. The SL-S provides an enhanced cheek weld and true, O-ring sealed, 10m waterproof battery storage, but fits it into the narrowest package possible to allow a more upright head position and minimize bulk. A rolled toe and angled rubber butt-pad are optimized for use with body armor, and an ambidextrous QD sling swivel socket is included. A unique leaf-spring tension system provides a solid fit on mil-spec receiver extensions, with slightly less friction than the original SL.

Best MagPul stock, with storage!

Fell in love with this stock when my KAC rifle came with one, and now use it on my builds. It has two water tight hidden storage areas parallel to the buffer tube for batteries (CR123 or AA). Cheek weld area is a little broader than the SL version of the stock (also nice, but without storage).

Just ok

Bought this on a whim based on weight and storage features. This stock is ok, it doesnt rattle, but it does slide front to back, about 1/16th of an inch. Its annoying, when you shoulder ready the weapon the stock goes clunk forward. even when its locked in place. Replaced a CTR stock with this, that locked up solid no play. This has play and its annoying. The cheek weld is perfect though. The but pad isnt very comfortable, its very hard and flat, probably for shooting against armor, not chest/shoulder. For the money, its ok.
