B-GC BROWNELLS/GEISSELE COMPETITION 1-STAGE TRIGGER FOR AR-15 Reviews & Ratings

B-GC (Brownells / Geissele Competition)

Don't Spend a Fortune!

Available ONLY at Brownells

Geissele and Brownells have teamed up to offer two unique triggers that give you the best performance at the best price! As one of the oldest and largest distributors of Geissele products, we had the unique opportunity to sit down with them to spec out two AR-15 triggers that wring out every bit of the performance Geissele is famous for. We also wanted to deliver them at a price point that won't make Geissele fans wait until a Black Friday sale to upgrade their current trigger!

We found ways to reduce production costs on things that don't sacrifice the legendary Geissele trigger performance. So these triggers are not laser-engraved (which you can't see anyway when they're in the gun), and they're batch-tested rather than individually inspected. Rest assured, if for ANY reason you’re not satisfied with your Brownells-exclusive Geissele trigger, it's still Guaranteed. Forever.® Simply return it to us for refund or exchange if it doesn’t meet your expectations.

Remember: you can't get these triggers anywhere else. They are available EXCLUSIVELY from Brownells!

Awesome
First I want to say this trigger is great I bought mine at PSA on their website its a very good trigger clean break good reset. Its funny all the people who put down a "drop in" its easier to install much faster and most of the time very good triggers the Duty drop in single stage 3.5lb by TT runs cheaper and better than this Geisselle Triggertech triggers are a better designed than Geissele Ive run them all very hard never had any issue with any TT or hyperfire drop in but got to love a good Geissele trigger especially at this price cant wait to try the G2S E brownells exclusive 2 stage next going to put in my deer rifle and hey speaking of 2 stage triggers that break at about 3 pounds the PSA sabre claw 2 stage is a amazing 2 stage trigger for 89$

BGC is a boss
As far as single stage triggers, this is amazing. So smooth, only goes pew when I want it to- doesn't when I don't want it to. Put it in my 11.5 AR and don't regret it a bit. One of those situations where the product and store are both on point

I love my new trigger group
I'd like to start by saying I meant to order a Giessle 2-stage but instead got this beautiful trigger. I love it even though it was an honest mistake on my part. I installed it, it went in so easy and even included instructions! I am recommending this to my friends.

Great trigger
These are very nice triggers. Can be a little tricky getting them installed, but once in they work great. This is the second one I have bought. Will buy again if a trigger is needed.

Amazing!
This trigger will surprise you. It is very easy to install, and it is simply amazing! It is a drop in trigger that comes with the springs already installed, so you will save time installing it by avoiding a couple extra steps. Lubricate the points recommended and get ready to be amazed. I get a consistent 3lb to 3lb 2oz pull weight out of my Wheeler trigger scale. I chose the two stage for this particular application. The first stage is a consistent 2lb pull as advertised. The back wall is defined, and there is only 1lb'ish to go before the hammer is released. Honestly, it is almost too light for my AR liking, but it is just fine. You will not be disappointed. There is no buffing or polishing needed. The instructions were easy to follow. Use the included pins and springs, lubricate as directed and enjoy!

A real trigger for real men.
Anybody who buys those silly drop-in triggers probably needed help putting on their jock strap in gym class. If you can't replace the simple AR trigger, you should be shooting a BB gun. The Geiselle Competition model comes with two trigger springs, you should test both before deciding. My Colt M4 stock trigger broke at 6 lbs. The silver/gold spring is thick and stiff. After setting it in place, ten average pulls on the Lyman digital pull gauge came to 4 lbs. 10 oz. Much stiffer than advertised. The black spring was noticeably thinner and lighter, it averaged ten pulls at 2 lbs. 11 oz. so that was my preferred choice. This is light, quick, and fast resetting, perfect for the AR carbine. Geiselle also keeps their hammer spring impact the same as stock, which is critical for reliability. This is all you need at a fantastic price. Why pay more for laser engraving nobody can see, fancy packaging, and a bumper sticker?

Every AR needs one.
We all know stock military triggers are designed for sheer reliability, not accuracy. We also know there are tons of manufacturers who make "lazy man" drop-in trigger systems. Those are pathetic, as any AR trigger is dirt simple in design and removal/installation. Geiselle makes the real triggers and they are used by various branches of our military. They also keep the stock hammer impact, critical for reliability. I replaced my AR10 stock trigger in about 15 minutes and delighted in the results. If you never felt a 2 stage, you are missing out. The total pull of this trigger on my Lyman digital gauge was 3lbs. 2oz. But the beauty is the first stage feels like trigger take up or slack at a mere two pounds, then you hit a wall. From that point just a one pound two ounce pull breaks crisply. This system does wonders for your accuracy, no more hard pulls to slightly move your gun off target. Put your reticle on the bullseye and this marvelous trigger lets you hit it with ease.
