This is an excellent A2 grip. It is the correct Mil-Spec size and materials. There are so many bad grips out there that call themselves A2 but they are way off on dimensions or are made out of a brittle feeling plastic. This one is great.

This is the one you want
You either think all A2 grips are the same, or want a specific one. I wanted one like my Colt has and one equal to USGI dimensions. This one is virtually identical to my newer Colt carbine units. It has the right contour around the top where it tapers and is just a tad fatter than an A2 grip from most budget manufacturers. The checkering is sharp diamonds on a slightly recessed panel. It is just a bit shinier than some brands. I couldn’t be happier.

One of the nicest A2 grips
I should start out by saying the A2 grip is not for everybody, nor are all A2 grips built the exact same. This is one of the nicer feeling A2 grips I’ve tried, it feels thicker and higher quality than ones you’d get from a budget company. It’s slightly larger than some of the other ones I have which I feel leads to a more comfortable grip and less chafing on the grip “knuckle/hump”. The serrations on the rear of the grip stick out just slightly, and the checkering on the sides of the grip are crisp and clean. If you’re going for an A2 grip for a clone build or something, you’d probably wanna grab this one
Nice grip, not a good color match.
This was a finishing touch for my latest build. While the quality is great, it is not a very good FDE color match. I included a picture to show I am not just being picky. I will probably keep this as a spare and go back to a black grip since this looks terrible. Quality and function are fine, which is the more important issue.
