A 1911 Bushing wrench with a built-in safety. The little flap keeps you from taking the recoil spring plug in the face (or eye) during disassembly or assembly. If you've been lucky to date not to be hit but have spent a lot of time looking for the launched spring and plug, this will eliminate the searches.

Perfect wrench for the job

Perfect size and all steel construction. Just what I needed, especially with those strong recoil springs.

Every one who has a 1911 should have one. Could save eye or lost parts, even a little cussing.

Does Just What it's Supposed To

Pros: This wrench is a very handy tool for 1911 disassembly and assembly. It really does work as advertised and keep you from launching the spring and plug into orbit or your face. Cons: The finish began to wear off immediately upon use. The wrench's fit around my bushing is a bit loose, but that may be necessary to accommodate variations in bushing sizes across manufacturers. Summary: Well worth the price!
