Saved A Rifle
I have a fair amount of experience with Rugers. I did a nice build with a Brownells receiver. I used another brand of aftermarket bolt. It fit the receiver but it was really tight. So the rifle would fire and was incredibly accurate but it had feeding issues. It was basically binding up in the receiver and I didn’t want to start down the road of making modifications. It was very disappointing because the rest of the rifle was great. I ordered the Brownells bolt after seeing some reviews. It dropped into the receiver quite easily and it performed flawlessly at the range. I may order another one and test it in a stock Ruger receiver to see how it does. This works really well and I highly recommend it if you are putting together a new rifle or replacing an older or damaged bolt.

Nice Part
I was amazed at the quality of this part as soon as I took it out of the bubble wrap. Mates to the Brownell's receiver perfectly. This is a machined part not cast and then machined. Absolutely beautiful. I will most likely replace all of my stock bolts with one of these over time

10/22 bolt nitrided
Bolt looks very nice, finely machined, and works perfect with Brownells 10/22 receiver. I really don't think you can get much better than this especially for the price.
Brownells 10/22 bolt assembly
After completing a 10/22 build using a Brownells railed receiver, Green Mountain bull barrel, a Hogue over molded stock & a spare Timney trigger (from a previous build) I tried to use / install a new Ruger OEM bolt assy. It just wouldn't fit right and wouldn't slide without major resistance. When Brownells offered their new bolt assy. I ordered one. Dropped in with little or no effort (except for pulling the charging handle all the way back) and it slides freely like it should. A couple of days after I placed my order I noticed the bolt assy. went on sale (before my order was received) so I called Brownells customer service and they were kind enough to refund me the difference in price ($20). I can always count on Brownells to offer great service, competitive prices and a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. That's what keeps me coming back for my firearm parts, cleaning supplies and ammo. Great company to do business with. I very much appreciate that and will continue to do business with Brownells.

Truly a high performance, accurate bolt assembly. This bolt is designed and manufactured to much higher standards than the OEM unit. It rivals the quality of those offered at two or three times the price. A definite "must have" for serious target competition.
