I am extremely pleased and impressed by the quality of my recent “10/22” bolt purchase from “Brownells.” I opted for the Black bolt and it is machined, coated and made of top quality material. I also purchased a replacement charging handle/recoil spring assembly. I completed my 10/22 “Refresh” with a RUGER spec Deluxe Sporter walnut replacement stock. 10-22 bolt
Very well-made. It is not machined to keep the firing pin from lifting. I shouldn’t have assumed that this common modification was part of it, but that’s not Brownell’s fault.

Excellent 10/22 Bolt
The Brownells' BRN-22 Bolt Assembly has a slick nitride finish and the CNC work is very nice. I did have a bit of an issue with the extractor binding (due to a bur) that I had to work out by actuating the extractor by hand a hundred times or so and now it is operating smoothly. Nice upgrade to the OEM bolt and works perfectly in the Brownells' BRN-22 receiver.
