Ramshot Tac !
This powder works really well in 69 grain .223 bullits . In fact you can stack your shots with this combination of Tac powder and 69 grain bulits at 100 yards.I have found this combination and 77 grainers to work best .Lighter weight bullits so far have done as well like 55 grainers.

Can't Get a Good Load
My .308 and .223 loads all use Varget. Both rifles are easily capable of les than 1/2 MOA at 100 yds, and sub-MOA at 600 yds. Since Varget is nearly unobtainable now, I started looking for a viable alternative. I tried several powders, including Ramshot Tac. Of all the powders I tried, TAC gave me by far the worst results. I saw huge SD's and ES's in my ladder tests. Actually had 3-shot ES's over 100fps with my MPA .308 chassis rifle!!! The .223 loads weren't quite as bad, but they were still the worst I saw with any powder. I'm very precise in my reloading and use high end equipment, dies, and measuring devices, so these loads weren't just slapped together. Fortunately, I only bought 5 lbs. Maybe I'll use the TAC for .556 NATO loads, where "minute of man" accuracy is acceptable. For what it's worth, I was able to equal my Varget load accuracy for the .308 using IMR 4166, but of course that can't be found anymore either.
