fishing rod repair
just take a piece of donor rod and cut a sleeve that fits the broken rod sections,and acraglas in place. be sure the rod is straight as it cures, or you will have a crooked rod.works on fiberglas, or graphite equally well. the first rod i repaired was over forty years ago, and it is still in use, and still holding

Very good product, I like it better than the non-flamable, set up time is good for those hard to build spots. I've used it for more than for bedding.
Good when used correctly
Have used this product several times, with and without dye. It works well, and too well if you dont set it neatly. Long lasting.
Good Stuff
Great product!!!!!! Would give it 5 stars, but the last kits I bought solidified before they could be used. Must have been a bad batch. I have used this product for many years for doing not only bedding, but repairs on any number of items, many not even gun related.
Works but runny
Very Runny, save yourself a headache and buy the "green" gel. Works great when done.
Waffle Syrup
The half life or window of time to use it is quite generous, however the consistency of the mix is very runny. Go with s gel or an epoxy instead. Very strong once cured, but it must set up 10 hours and cure for an additional 50 hours (2.5 days). I expected top shelf for the price and got well brand instead. Close to ruined s Boyds Laminate stock for my Axis and is the first bedding I've had go wrong at 60 years old.
The worst products I have ever used.
This stuff is terrible, it is very thin, does not cling to the sides of a vertical repair but rather it just runs down to the lowest point and spreads out. I had to pull the screws out for fear they would be permanently cemented into the wood. It got under the masking tape and on to the metal and the wood. I am a hobby gunsmith and a professional in my own right as a Licensed NYC Master Plumber. I am a craftsman's, I have a lathe and a mill and know how to use them. I'm am disappointed in Brownells and myself for not heeding the warnings by the Manufacture and the order reviews. I have much work to do now to repair the damage caused by this product. Be diligent and read the review. When the manufacturer warns you, you better take heed.
Not as good as old formula
I used this product to fill in some amateur holes in a stock. Very complicated instructions, to much verbiage. Need better tech writers. Has lots of bubbles, like foam, when it sets up. When using two drops of brown dye and two drops of black dye, still looks yellow. Dye system is a big fail. Very disappointed in this product. Will never use again. Feel like I was ripped off.
the worst bedding compound I've used
Hands down the worst bedding compound I've used. It's so runny when mixed it just drains down to the bottom of the stock. There's an extremely brief window while it's hardening when it's thick enough to be usable, but if you miss that window your bedding project will be a disaster. Ruined a $250 custom Boyds stock trying to use this stuff....never again.
