What is the BADGER ORDNANCE - 34mm Extra High Aluminum Scope Rings (US Army M2010)?

Heavy duty 30mm steel rings, machined in pairs, serial numbered, and designed specifically to securely hold large, heavy scopes on hard-recoiling guns. Weaver-style clamp with big ½" nut really snugs ring to the mount. Ultra-High provides optimum height for AR-15, AR-10 and SR-25 rifles.


SPECS: Black Matte finish. Ring height measured from top of mount to center of ring; Standard - .823" (2cm), Medium - .885" (22.5mm), Medium High - 1.0" (2.5cm), High - 1.125" (2.8cm), Ultra High - 1.378" (3.5cm). The best rings made, by far.
Everything that Badger makes is always the best available, by far. If only they were not so very expensive! If not so very expensive, I would never use anything else on any rifle, or handgun if they made them for such. I have been shooting for 72 years now (yep, getting rather long in the teeth), an unfortunately badly shot up USMC Colonel and physicist, experienced all too many scopes knocked out of alignment that never would have happened with Badger mounts. Take this evaluation as you will.

Great rings
Great rings, very solid. I have these rings mounted on a Savage .338 Lapua holding a Schmidt and Bender PMII and it is rock solid, even under the heavy recoil from the Lapua magnum. If you have high quality glass make sure to use high quality rings, and Badger rings are the best.

Very pleased
Very high quality product. How you mount your optic is critical to how well the entire system performs. These are rock solid atop a badger 20moa rail. I look forward to many years of service out of these. And unquestionable reliability which cannot be said with a $20 set of rings.

Best rings money can buy
These are truly the best rings money can buy. I put a set of these on my Remington 700 .308 project with a leupold mark 4 scope. These rings are excellent and will will never look at anything else when doing another long range/ tactical rifle project.

Best scope rings ever
These scope rings are sold as a matched serialized set and are perfectly aligned from the factory so you do not have to lap them, and believe me I checked this with alignment bars. Something important to note though, at least with the steel rings you will have to degrease them as they come slathered up in what smells like cosmoline. A minor inconvenience though as these rings are beefy and precisely machined.
