I would buy this product again
Used on my Savage 3C and Stevens 56 with the Brownells 3/4"-1" Delrin reducers. Allows bolt handle clearance when used with a 3/4" scope and holds perfect zero.

Not for all winchester 69A's
The information showing that this side base mount is for the Winchester 69A is not totally accurate. The holes in the side mount are 2.357 inches apart. On an older 69A the available mounting holes are 1.25 inches apart. They are specifically designed for a type of rear peep sight. The 3A base has two holes the correct distance but the base would still need to be modified to fit without modifying the gun stock.

Weaver side mount.
Not heavy enough for a boat anchor and that's all it's good for. The inside rail is not beveled for scope rings it's flat and rings will pull right off. The hole pattern only allows the 2 front screws to be used, no place on Arisaka receiver to drill for rear screws. I milled a bevel on the rail side that was flat and rings will not tighten due to the rail now being too narrow. Real useless piece of crap. Buy it and be sorry.

For Carcano
This Mount centers the scope over the barrel. This is no good for The Carcano Italian Military rifle. The Ammo is loaded with a 6 round clip and the only way to load the gun is remove the scope. Not the best solution.
