What is the SILENCERCO - OMEGA K/OSPREY/OCTANE/HYBRID 46 PISTONS?

The OMEGA K Series, OSPREY, OCTANE, and HYBRID 46 family of suppressors have pistons that are easily changed for different host weapons or subcalibers. Pistons are constructed from 17-4 stainless steel and then heat treated for maximum durability. The piston is part of the Nielsen device that moves and allows semi-automatic cycling, but it also contains the female threads that attach to the muzzle of the host pistol or sub-gun. These pistons are easily interchangeable for compatibility with all relevant host guns and can be changed out to be compatible with subcaliber host guns, which means you can shoot smaller caliber rounds through the same suppressor, making it a multi-caliber silencer.

Tight!
I purchased this piston for an Osprey 45 installed on a FNX 45 Tactical. The piston fits extremely tight in the can, may not be removable after spending time at the range. But since I did not plan to put it on any other can it's all good.

AC25 piston
I bought this piston for my Omega K. I needed to swap between my Sig P320 carry and the Glock 26. It was easy to install. I just change pistons and I am ready to go. Takes about 2 minutes to swap. It's a real plug and play.

Fits My Glock 19 Well
Fits my firearm well and I easily installed it on the Omega 9 K suppressor. I haven't taken this to the range yet and plan to update my review then. Unfortunately, I forgot to purchase the "suppressor height" sights for my Glock. The primary con is that one has to procure this piston separate from the can. I suppose it makes an expensive can slightly cheaper, but still providing utility to fit my 300 AAC Blackout AR-pistol.

Did not work on semi-auto pistol
I purchased this to use on a 9 mm Baretta 92 pistol. The silencer fits close to the pistol and the recoil spring guide of the pistol was hitting the silencer preventing the gun slide from moving. This should work fine on a rifle or revolver. If you are getting this adapter for use on a semi auto pistol, I would get the XL version. I did this and now am able to use the silencer on my semi auto pistol.
