Thumbs up from a gunsmith
Went looking for a Heritage birds head as money very tight and I already own a Heritage 6.5 in barrel Rough Rider. didn't fins anything local. And then one store showed me the Wrangler birdshead in burnt bronze. Looked at it handled it and loved it. I ha e had several Rugers on the past but no Wranglers and my budget very limited. A tick over $200. RoughRider birdshead 3.5 were 180-190. Took me about 5 seconds to make the decision. Finish is amazing and durable. Very nicely built. Grat pistol. Have'nt shot it yet but will be getting another. For the money it is hands down a better choice than the Rough Rider. Especially in fit and finish. But will need a trigger job. Trigger is creepy and breaks over 5lbs. Rough Rider is 3 lbs and clean break. Springs and polishing trigger job next step.
