Rugged, shock-proof polymer replacement for factory forend upgrades your Remington, or Mossberg pump shotgun with a heavily textured tactical forend for home defense or competition. Deep grooves give a secure purchase for fast, positive racking and enhanced recoil control. Installation requires some disassembly of shotgun, including barrel, forend, and forend nut.

SPECS: Injection-molded polymer, matte black. 6" (15.2cm) long, 17?8" (4.8cm) dia. 5.5 oz. (155g) wt. Remington - Fits Remington 870 and Winchester 1200/1300 - 12 gauge. Mossberg - fits Mossberg 500, 590, and 835 - 12 gauge. Includes wrench for installation.

For the $, I'm impressed with quality!
I'm replacing a wooden forend. Wanted simple and lightweight, got both! Perfect for home defense. Didn't need or want attachments - very satisfied!

Decent quality...if it had fit.
Material-wise, it's not bad. I read the other reviews about ill fit and dismissed them, thinking "How bad can it really be?". Well, it's hot garbage fitment-wise...didn't come close to fitting either of my Winchesters. Heed my warning! Buy something else if you want something that will actually fit your shotgun.

Tough Fit
Ordered it for Winchester 1300. Everything went well with this process, arrived well packaged, and is a good quality product, but for my experience it did no fit. I had to do extensive grinding on both ends to make it fit. Works well now.

quality material
Got this in the full stock kit, and had to gripe about it. quality material used and a nice finished product, but the fitment is horrible. the nut that holds it on to the slide still hangs out of the forend about 1/2 way and looks terrible when installed. the nut now comes VERY close to the barel ring.

not for 835
Does not fit a Mossberg 835. I tried, tried no luck. Used dremel tool to modify it, gave up in frustration. I have one of their forends on a SAIGA clone Lynx12, I use the recoil stock on 2 of my shotguns; this just didn't impress me. Sorry Phoenix Tech this product didn't work for me. Ended up buying Hogue over molded forend.
