Source of hard to find action screws.
Forster continues to make excellent tools, and a nice assortment of blued action screws. Many of these screws, including the ones I ordered for an older Sako, are long out of production and no longer available as factory replacement parts. Excellent product.

won't always be available
With the current trend to "Black Rifles" parts for the old military sporterized rifles won't always be available in the future. I'm stocking up while they are still available. Forster makes good products.

1903A3 Trigger Gurad Screws
The extra long tang screw worked perfect in both my 03A3 rifles. As the previous reviewer stated the extra 1/4" of length puts 7 to 8 screw threads into the rear receiver hole. The original 1903 screw only used two threads.

A perfect fit
Admittedly, it's difficult to get excited about a tang screw, but this does exactly what it's supposed to do. I have an 03A3 with an "S" (scant) stock from the CMP, and it came with a standard rear tang screw. It only engaged for a few threads and came loose after every few shots. The Forster screw is a perfect fit and fixes the problem.
