Does not fit pre 64 Winchester 1894
The longer stock screw provided with set does not fit the threads on my pre 64 (manufactured 1912) model 1894 Winchester. The original and the ordered screw both have 28TPI pitch but the major diameter of the original is .205 compared to the set .209. Have ordered many times from Brownell’s with 100% satisfaction and will not hesitate to order again. No issue with Brownell’s. Given the rifle was manufactured in 1912 and the UTS standards established post WW2 this could just be an anomaly with the rifle. Thanks for the great service.
