LMT DEFENSE - M203 Leaf Sight 1913 Picatinny Rail Mount

Having ordered the LMT flare launcher recently (review posted), all I was lacking was the leaf sight. When it came in stock, I shuddered at the price, but ordered. Another review said it came all beat up. Mine looks and is brand new, not a scratch. My M16A1 is now complete. Only rated 4 stars strictly due to price. There isn't a whole lot to this leaf sight.....really just a two pieces of punched out sheet metal. But when you want it, you want it and it's rarely in stock.

The sight does the job, but I think its overpriced for what it is, and as others have said, it doesn't include the mounting screws. If direct mounting to a handguard, grab a pack of pan head 8-32 thread 3/8" screws to mount it with.

The aiming reticle is sharp and clear, but the base is heavily scratched inside and out. Its like the base came in a bulk container and was tossed down a few flights of stairs. Some Cerekote after disassembly will fix it, as it looks like crap as is. It does not come with the 2 mounting screws (although I was not completely expecting it to since the product info didn’t specify, it would be nice if it did). For the price its not horrible, but I have found used ones in better looking condition on GB. I’d give it 4 stars if it wasn't scratched or if it came with mounting screws for the hand guard its primarily made for.
