What is the AERO PRECISION - M4E1 5.56MM STRIPPED UPPER RECEIVER W/NO FORWARD ASSIST AR-15?
This upper receiver features the same tried-and-true construction and aesthetics as Aero’s M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers, without provisions for a forward assist. Machined from custom 7075-T6 aluminum forgings this upper receiver is compatible with mil-spec AR15 components.

  • Custom enhanced forging that gives the upper receiver a "billet look" while maintaining the structural integrity of a forged part.

AP upper w/o forward assist
I purchased an Aero Precision M4E1 upper receiver, without the forward assist, to complete a dedicated MSR .22LR build utilizing a CMMG barrel and BCG. Matched it up with an AP lower I had on hand. Great upper receiver for the .22LR format. With primers in short supply, I've been shooting my .22's more often. Aero Precision makes a great product for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
