Recoil Reduction

Product Quality & Safety

Customer feedback varies regarding product quality, with several reports of inconsistencies in threading and a dangerous failure incident. While most find the brake well-made, the existence of severe safety concerns raises eyebrows, suggesting thorough checks before use.
Installation Issues
40%
Multiple reviews emphasize the necessity of verifying thread dimensions prior to installation to avoid malfunction. A few customers experienced issues that required additional machining or adjustments to fit properly, highlighting the importance of careful preparation.
Affordability
55%
Many users appreciate the price point of the muzzle brake, considering it a great value compared to competitors. This affordability makes it a popular choice among both casual users and professionals who install it frequently.
Noise Level

Users note the significant increase in noise when using the brake, necessitating hearing protection during use. While effective at recoil reduction, the loudness is a common downside that potential buyers should consider.
5
Most popular brake we install
This brand of brake is not the most efficient. But it works, is not expensive, looks good on a hunting rifle, not bulky, and comes in many diameters to match any barrel. We have installed many with no complaints and lots of compliments. Our most popular model brake to install.

Excellent brakes!
I can't even count how many of these brakes (all part numbers) on this page I have installed, everything from light sporter 300WSM's down to rimfire calibers. I have NEVER had anyone that wasn't satisfied with the results. Recoil reduction is amazing. The larger O.D numbers can be tapered back to meet the bbl. O.D. for a clean installation. I don't usually write reviews, but these things work. Period. The brake should be indicated in a four jaw chuck and reamed to .020 over bullet diameter, and the barrel shoulder must be turned to a square shoulder and single point threaded. Hearing protection is required with or without the brake. Accuracy is improved because the high pressure gases are stripped away leaving a clean flight of the bullet. You can't beat the price!

Excellent part, excellent price
Gotta' be kidding. I can't build the thing for what it's priced at here. It's an excellent part. Works like a charm.
5
Great muzzle brake
I use this brake for benchrest shooting. This type of brake reduces felt recoil and the muzzle flip almost all together and looks great with my stainless steel barrel, but is very loud.
4
Good
These are good but not what I use on a regular basis.
