What is the MEC-GAR - 1911 Full Size Magazine 9-Rd Blued 9mm?

Made for Full Size 1911’s, Mec-Gar has a 10-Rd anti-friction coated magazine and a 9-Rd blued magazine new to their lineup. Both magazines are made up of a heat treated carbon steel tube and high tensile music wire for the spring.

The 10-Round magazine features a high-impact polymer follower, anti-friction coating, and a high-impact polymer floorplate that sits flush with the pistol.

The 9-Round magazine features a heat treated/stamped follower, blued finish, and a metal welded floorplate.

The best 9mm 1911 magazines I’ve found.
I’m an active Single Stack competitor in Steel Challenge and USPSA. As such, I need reliability above all else and these are my new favorite magazine. They’re reliable and the 10 round version sit proud of a Dawson ICE magwell making closed slide mag changes a breeze. Additionally they don’t have a goofy feedlips that virtually every other 9mm 1911 mag has so loading and unloading is as easy as any other mag.

I like these mags.

Super Nice quality mags for 1911's.
I bought them for EDC in My ArmsCore RockIsland Ultra-Tac 1911 chamber in 9mm. They fit great, and snug, but as you seen these are 10-rounds and in my particular model they peek just a little bit.
