ELITE TACTICAL SYSTEMS GROUP - 42 Magazine .380 7rd Polymer Translucent

Overall it's a great magazine, I own two of these and one of the 12 rounders. Feeds great, looks great, holds an extra round compared to the flush OEM magazine, what more can you ask for? The spring is plenty strong and it ejects the magazine with plenty authority in the three samples I own. I also paired one of these with the TangoDown Vickers +2 extension to serve as a pinky extension and it runs perfectly. Although it only adds one additional round compared to the +2 on the OEM body but that still gives you 8 rounds and the transparent body so I think it's a good combo. Additionally I'd like to add that I put one of the Vickers +2 extensions on my ETS 12 rounder and it indeed added +2 for a total of 14 rounds. In short they run great for me, they might not for your pistol that's just the nature of firearms. Buy one and try it, if it works for your example you get a translucent body plus an additional round what's not to like?

Great for fun at the range and gives the wife 12+1rds at night in the house.

Functioned fine out of box for about 120 rounds, including some Hornady Custom hollow points, and Winchester red/white/blue box fmj solid points. Box says it's compatible with mag extensions. I had a Strike Industries +2 that I've used a lot on Glock factory mags without issue. When I started loading the Elite Tactical, the 13th round (1 past it's standard capacity) looked like it was twisting in the magazine. I wasn't comfortable with that; and, so I didn't try to fire it like that. Otherwise, it functions as expected so far. Might be a good option to leave in the car safe as a reload if you use a 42 on a regular basis.

I foolishly somehow thought this was going to be flush with the bottom of the grip. It is not it extends out about an inch. Had this been mentioned in the description I would have passed on it. Other than that it loads and feeds just fine.

Magazines will not drop free from frame when magazine release button is depressed.
