What is the MAGPUL - 1911 MOE TSP Grips, ODG?

Evolved from Magpul's original moe 1911 grip panels, the 1911 grip panels with tsp texture offers the user a more aggressive texture allowing for better control of the weapon in all environments.


Constructed of heavy-duty reinforced polymer, the grips have a unique diamond-shaped cross section to prevent twisting in the hand, an aggressive magazine release cut-out, aggressive tsp texture (trapezoidal surface projections) for positive control, and are compatible with ambidextrous safeties.


The grips are designed to fit full size framed 1911s with standard grip screw bushings.

Made in the USA.

Perfect fit
I put these on an older 1911 clone and they fit perfect. I love the feel, the texture gives you a great grip. I can also work the mag release easier and faster with these. I would recommend everyone to give these a try especially with such a good price, it's a no brainer.

Magpul grips
This product is used on my training pistol. Fitment was nice, no need for any filing to make the ambi safety fit underneath the grip. Over all a really good product.

Magpul strikes again
I own several 1911 pistols, some with much more expensive grips. These are simple, light and feel great. The TSP texture feels sticky without being too rough or abrasive. The thumb channel is well thought out and helps with manipulating the mag release. These are currently on my lightweight Commander which I EDC. Anyone want to buy some used G10 grips?

Very nice without breaking the bank
The gun I put these grips on is an old pistol that is worth a little more to keep around than to throw away. So I decided to do some inexpensive upgrades to it and the Magpul grips are one of them, they turned out much better than I was expecting. The TSP texture is really nice, not too rough but plenty of grip. The mag release scoop is something I love and will become apart of my higher end 1911's. Overall I would definitely recommend these grips to other people, well worth the money.

Great with Springfield Loaded
I'd love a pair of VZ grips but you'd be hard pressed to find a better alternative than the Magpul 1911 grips. Incredibly cheap and well made. Not flimsy at all and the grips are thinner than standard wood grips. Provides OK traction but I love the deep thumb scoop on the left panel. Allows hairy axe wielding dwarves with stubby hands/fingers like me to depress the mag release without shifting my grip. Sometimes I wonder why I put $20 grips on a $900+ gun but they work so well I've had no reason to change them.
