Easy to install

Couldn't bring myself to send one of my beloved colts out to have the front strap checkered Someone suggested this so I ordered one Loved it. Ordered 6 more If you're planning on installing on sub compact trimming is required added an extra 2 minutes to installation. The review ask for cons but I haven't had it installed long so I haven't found any yet But cost is low so if it has to be removed you're not out a lot of cash I rate it a great value

They work great! Stainless and blued!

Installed the blue on an AR pistol with 1911 style grip, not quite 1911 spec grip, but the flexibility of this checkering allowed it to fit! The stainless I put on a Gold Cup Commander, it has vertical grooves, but this checkering makes it real grippy! I would recommend

Great idea door execution

I added one to a Parkerized Colt and one to a Springfield RO stainless competition 1911 gun with Brown thin grips. Did have to use some purple LT. Very satisfied. Take your time though really need 3 hands.

Worth the $

Very simple to install great product for the money. Save going to custom shop
