What is the UNIQUETEK - Gas Block Aligner 30 Caliber?

Plastic segmented rods fit into AR-15 gas ports and help you find correct alignment between barrel and gas block. Rods come in 6-paks, and in different lengths and diameters to fit the different gas port specs used by various manufacturers. Segmented construction lets you break the rod off with standard cleaning rod, and high-visibility orange color makes it easy to verify both portions are out of the gas system and barrel. Available in .22 Cal for .223/5.56 and .30 Cal for all calibers from .223/5.56 up to .30 caliber. Includes instructions.

a bit spendy, but really works
Getting ready to purchase for third time, as I've been using them for years. They just work. I just hold the barrel upside down and slide the block on while looking through the barrel until the pin drops, verify that it moves freely by rotating the barrel then carefully tighten the block while checking for free movement. Run a cleaning rod through the barrel, then find where the two orange sections scurried off to.... ( They can really travel!)

Works Great
Works as advertised. Be sure to clean the gas port in the barrel with alcohol to eliminate any oil that will cause the pin to stick in barrel port. Once cleaned and completely dry the pin can move freely through the barrel Port.

Pricey but worth every penny!!!
Although a little pricey for a "use it once and throw it away" tool, it is simply the quickest and most accurate tool for perfect gas block alignments ever. This is truly the best tool for the job! I won't do a build w/o them. Genius! Dr. S.

Gas Block Aligner Tool
Takes all the guess work out of gas block alignment, especially for a clamp on gas block. Watch the online video from the included instructions, it really is a brilliant tool. Very easy to use and works as advertised. This was my first gas block upgrade, I took my time and was very careful so it took me about 30 minutes. However, after having used this aligner I'm confident that I could do it again in literally minutes.

Didnt work for me
I used this for installing a low profile gas block on a Colt Socom profile barrel and all of the little pieces were too big. I feel like this should come with more sizes to accommodate more gas port sizes
