Works great
This tool is a great addition to the tool box. I won't assemble a gas block without using this device. Six different sized inserts are provided and I have used two of them in .223 barrels. Once used, the used insert is discarded. Works well and I keep some on hand. I use this tool in conjunction with other tools to ensure I have the best alignment of the gas hole possible.
Works as Advertised
I noticed that there were some that had problems using these. The pins work fine IF you are sure to degrease the Gas Port in the barrel with Alcohol and be sure it is completely DRY!

Works as advertised. Be sure to clean the gas port in the barrel with alcohol to eliminate any oil that will cause the pin to stick in barrel port. Once cleaned and completely dry the pin can move freely through the barrel Port.
Pricey but worth every penny!!!
Although a little pricey for a "use it once and throw it away" tool, it is simply the quickest and most accurate tool for perfect gas block alignments ever. This is truly the best tool for the job! I won't do a build w/o them. Genius! Dr. S.
Great tool - beats guessing
Did my first two AR's tonight using this gadget. One was a heavy/bull barrel and other was a standard .750. Both gas blocks were vintage with rails built in. Read the instructions, watched a couple videos on YouTube then got going. Cleaned out the barrel ports per instructions. Dropped in the little sticks which went without a hitch. I did discover one gas block was generously sized so I had to pick the best "middle" position. Both fell into place and blocks tightened. Both snapped off easily with a cleaning rod. This is much cheaper than buying a bore scope and certainly much better than guessing by eye and hoping the holes are lined up. Highly recommend and will be buying more of these.
Gas Block Aligner Tool
Takes all the guess work out of gas block alignment, especially for a clamp on gas block. Watch the online video from the included instructions, it really is a brilliant tool. Very easy to use and works as advertised. This was my first gas block upgrade, I took my time and was very careful so it took me about 30 minutes. However, after having used this aligner I'm confident that I could do it again in literally minutes.

Easy Gas Block Alignment
I love these alignment pins, wish I had found them sooner. They make aligning the gas block a fast, easy job. The different sizes it has ensure you have the right one for different sized gas holes. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is...... for just under $8 they could have made it with 2 or 3 of each size instead of 1 each. Other wise I can't fault it, works well and I will be buying a few more.

This item works as advertised when used as directed. However, I have since discovered a hack that I call "Redneck Tech". you can accomplish the same results with a single piece of uncooked, regular size spaghetti. Simply insert in the gas hole in the barrel, break off flush with the barrel surface, install the gas block loosely, turn the barrel upside down, and move the gas block in small increments until you feel resistance from the spaghetti dropping into the gas block port. Tighten the gas block into place. Turn barrel back upright. Tap barrel lightly. Now look down the bore. If spaghetti has dropped back down into the barrel, use cleaning rod to break spaghetti and remove from barrel. Check for additional pieces and repeat process if necessary. This is much cheaper and works jus great !

OK but couldn't get it to break with a cleaning rod like was shown. Instead used it to center the block, make witness marks, remove the block and the peg, then reinstall the block to the witness marks. Not the way as advertised but still performed the end funtion.
