S&W REBOUND SLIDE SPRING TOOL


Specially bent and slotted tool is really about the only way to get past the frame pin to grab and compress the rebound slide spring while removing or installing the rebound slide. Fits all J, K, L, N and X frames. Will not scratch that valuable frame, pinch or bind.


NOTE: This tool may not work with the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard series of revolvers

Doesn't fit Aluminum Frame pin
Pin slot is too small for aluminum frame rebound spring pin. Brownell's gunsmith says tool is not designed for aluminum frame pin. Designed for stainless-steel frame pin. Most/Many S&W J-Frame guns have aluminum frames!!! Please specify what this tool fits!
