What is the LYMAN - BUTCH'S BORE SHINE?
Non-abrasive solvent easily cleans out lead, copper, wax, and even shotgun wad plastic. Quickly strips carbon buildup in the throat area, and regular application of a few patches soaked with Butch’s during a match or shooting session will control copper fouling. Safe to use on all barrel steels; may be left in barrel overnight without harm. SPECS: Net contents 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) or 8 fl. oz. (237ml). Contains ammonia.

Super Scrubbing With Out The Muscle
Install with a patch and let it soak awhile then run another wet patch to see results. If not satisfied just repeat the process.

Easy gun solvent
Cleans all barrels well. Not too harsh. Cuts copper and a reasonable amount of carbon quick! Price is reasonable......8 oz will last me years and I shoot quite a bit.

this stuffs great
works well on carbon fouling and great on copper fouling. haven't used anything that works this well and fast on copper. great product.

Works great
Ive used many bore solvants and this has been the best stuff. Many of the top notch firearms instructors have suggested using Butch's bore shine too.

Meh
Frankly I don't know what the hype is about. I haven't found Butch's to be as effective as Hoppe's No 9, and much less effective than Bore-tech Eliminator. Plus it has a really bad odor. I don't recommend it.
