One of the Best
Like the other reviews said, this has been the best bore cleaner I've used for the "deep cleaning" days. The instructions are thorough and it is easy to use. One bottle has lasted me over two years because I only use it when necessary (deep cleaning needs). I shoot just about every weekend so "occasional shooter" is an understatement. This stuff is not chemically harmful, it does not stink, it is easy to use, it requires physical action rather than chemical action, and it works very well. Be sure to keep it in the bore and out of actions because it contains a fine polishing grit that removes the toughest fouling without hurting anything.

Use when others fail
I have used this product since the 90's to break-in all my new rifles and to do a very thorough cleaning when lead or copper buildup occurs after extended shooting at places like prairie dog towns. Much faster and with less effort than the chemical cleaners. Use of this product on new factory barrels polishes them smooth very quickly to where fouling buildup occurs much slower. Very important for prairie dogging, and you get your bore cleaned much faster if you have to clean during your hunt. Be sure to follow instructions closely.

Absolutely the best I've found!!!
When it comes time for a "deep cleaning" of your rifling to get out lead and/or copper buildup, this is the stuff. PERIOD!!! As a competitive shooter who puts alot of lead down his 1911, I get buildup in the rifling. Don't get me wrong, you still gotta put in the ol' elbow grease, but this stuff gets rid of the buildup where others won't.
