DB FOAM FOR SUPPRESSORS

Inland Manufacturing has developed dB Foam, a foaming agent that lubricates and protects while reducing the noise. When used as directed, dB Foam can significantly reduce the sound level of firearm suppressors. In addition to noise reduction, dB Foam displaces water, and provides rust inhibiting protection for the internals of suppressors.

Works perfectly
Stops first shot pop, drops db on everything subsonic I shoot through my can. A little goes along way. Not sure why reviews are bad, I love it. I put enough to fill space between two baffles in the middle to end of the can 2-4 baffles past blast chamber. My only complaint is should come with two straws or use a common size to find replacements.

Innovative Product
I filled a take apart silencer with the foam, just to see what it did. The foam filled the inside nicely. I took the silencer apart the next day, and for the most part the foam had dissolved. I did get some slight leakage out of the silencer into the silencer pouch. I haven't fired it yet with the foam inside, although it seems apparent to me that it will have to be fired relatively soon after putting in the foam. I'll try and come back for follow-up after firing with the foam inside.

Disaster
This foam is messy--drips and runs everywhere. I used it on a 22 can and shot 20 rounds through it. According to the directions this should have easily shot out the foam and residue. I stored the rifle vertically with the suppressor still attached. A few weeks later liquid had run down my barrel, all through the action and stained my gun safe felt underneath. On top of that, I cannot get the stain line to come out on the barrel--it's like it etched the bluing. What a complete waste of money and time.
