Rust oil
I haven’t used this stuff before. If Brownells sells it I am sure it’s good.
Works well in humid environment
Ive been using this on my collection for a few years and it works well: No rust so far. It doesnt smell bad like sone of the other products Ive used. It has the consistency of a light oil. Its easy to distribute using a barber brush and it seems to wick i to noons and crannies well. I dont get a headache after working with this stuff the same way I do with CLP and a few others. Overall great product from Brownells.
an oldie and goodie
I have used this product for over 30 years and it has never failed. A small amount on a cotton cloth for a final wipe-down and guns stay rust-free for years in a reasonably dry place. I use it for the daily fingerprint wipe every time I put a gun in its case. It is a bit volatile so you need to keep the cloth and can sealed, and there is a little odor. But the result is a nearly-dry surface that does not collect dust. I combined this with Brownells Gunwrap paper and heavy storage bags and stored my Dad's collection for a decade. It worked as well as Cosmoline, but with no mess.

Ive tried a lot of rust proofs , finger prints stuff , but Ive been using this stuff for a long time , and will continue to do so . Leaves no residues , protects , and you do not have to flood it on as other products , A lite coet does it all !!!! Thanks again Brownells for another Quality product
