What is the LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS - Extreme Duty Gun Oil-Gallon?

Used and recommended by major firearms manufacturers, Lucas Extreme Duty Gun Oil is specially formulated for high volume, high heat and friction firearms and was designed for full auto firearms, SBRs and suppressors as well as semi-auto rifles, shotguns and pistols. It offers superior burn-off, shock and heat resistance, unlike any other multi-purpose gun oil. A unique additive keeps the oil from running and migrating while the polymeric film protects from rust, wear and moisture and resists carbon, lead and copper fouling and dramatically reduces wear during all shooting conditions. Applying Lucas Extreme Duty Gun Oil to bores, bolt carriers and gas pistons makes clean-up of powder residue, copper and carbon fouling a much easier task. Good Stuff
BOUGHT A GALLON OF THIS FROM BROWNELLS. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS OIL AND IT US AS GOOD AS ANY OTHER I HAVE USED.

Best oil I have tried
When I bought a new SIG P220 10mm, it came with a small amount of this oil. I just tried it and was really impressed. I bought the gallon jug because it is a great buy verse the small bottles and I use it to fill the bottles. The oil is blue in color and has a nice smell. It sticks to metal and I hardly get any barrel wear marks on my Glocks and CZ's. Other oils don't seem to prevent it.

Best OIl Yet
I've used many different gun lubes over the years and this is the best of the lot of them. What can be said other than its a great oil that just works. Keep in mind that is an oil. Again this is an oil, it is not a cleaner to be used in any type of ultrasonic cleaner. They do make products to use in ultrasonic cleaners that actually clean guns and gun parts. Once cleaned "properly" the firearm is then lubricated with the Lucas Gun Oil. Sorry but I really hate reviews given by others that are totally ignorant to the facts and use of a product and end up giving a great product 1 star.

Fantastic
Not sure what the other guy's issue was, but this worked great for me. After running it in my ultrasonic, I hung the parts up and let them drain back into the tank. Then it was an easy wipe down, swab out the firing pin and extractor channels, and re-assemble. This oil is the best I've ever used and keeps the guns running.

Unsuitable for Ultrasonic Cleaners.
I used this in an ultrasonic cleaner machine. This oil is as viscous as heavy corn syrup. It will not drain out of firing pin channels or other areas that are not supposed to be lubricated. It sticks to the outside surfaces and it took me 20 minutes using solvent to de-contaminate a Glock 17 slide. This oil is simply not suitable for any normal use in a US cleaning machine even though the description and label say it is. It is very slick and sticky which would make it suitable for sparing use as a a point lubricant. Don't put it in your U. S. cleaner or you will be sorry. It took 18 minutes for 3/4 gallon to dribble out of my Lyman machine and now I have to de-contaminate it too.
