BONDHUS - TORX/Star ProHold T-Handle 8-Piece Set

The handle material on the tip it is easily removed with a propane torch. What is conserning to me is the handle material on the tip is covering up a hole.

Responding to the prevous review. My set had the handle material gummed up on the bit also. Very easy to remove with propane torch you are just heating it up enough to soften the material thats all. Once heated and soften you can wipe it off with a rag. Now second part that handle material is covering up a hole thats been drilled into the bit flute. Why is that hole there I have no clue but does seem very odd. And its on every one in the set.

I have returned two sets of these, every set I get has some weird chunk of plastic fused to the tip. I have no idea why but both sets I received were the same way. It’s literally a chunk of plastic fused to the tip. Would love for some to tell me how these are always sold out with chunks of plastic fused to the tip.

I had high hopes for these star tip wrenches but they are poorly made, the quality is lacking! The tip snapped off one of the wrenches during the first use and several of the others had a hard green substance on the tips which you have to scrape off with a metal pick before use! I would recommend using star drive bits over these wrenches!
