LYMAN - Pro Drive Torque Wrench

I've been putting off buying one of these for far too long. This one seems to be of a high quality. Everyone I've ever used always had a "click" sound when you get to the pre-set torque... this one does not have a click, it just feels like the internals slip about a 1/4 turn. I double checked and the slip for a 1/4 turn when you hit the desired torque is how it is designed. Nothing wrong with that, its just different. Overall it seems like its a great product and I assume it will last me a lifetime. Also it does come with a slip of paper with the calibration #'s so you can know it is within spec.

The Lyman Pro Drive Torque Wrench exceeded my expectations! This Torque Wrench arrived and I was very impressed with what I received. The wrench comes in a fitted plastic case, with three blade screwdriver bits, three torx bits, and three allen head bits. Also included is an adapter to accept 1/4 inch sockets, and a 1/2 inch socket. The wrench itself is solidly constructed, and I appreciate the fact that the torque range is wider than that offered by some other wrenches, going from 10 to 80 inch pounds. It also comes with a serialized Certificate of Calibration, confirming the accuracy of the wrench at 10, 40, and 70 inch pounds. This torque wrench is suitable for a wide range of firearms related tasks, including scope mounting and action screw tightening. I highly recommend this product.
