Heavy, steel, spanner wrench makes it easy to tighten handguard barrel nuts to the correct torque. Notched end engages the indexing ring on Yankee Hill handguards and others with similar, slotted indexing rings for aligning the accessory rails. SPECS: Steel, black oxide finish. 8' (20.3cm) long, 2' (5.1cm) wide, ј' (6.4mm) thick.

Yankee Hill Forearm Wrench

Ordered the wrench to replace a barrel on a rifle with a RRA quad rail handguard. Worked perfect. Fastest barrel changeout I have done.

Very well made

Very well made , only way to properly tighten the lock nut. Just remember not to install gas block yet , as tool is a full circle and wont fit over the gas block . Very happy with the tool.

Works great to install YHM handguards

I've installed many YHM handguards without a problem, that's the only job that I use this tool for. Some of the reviewers report using this wrench for other duties and that may be the source of their disappointment. It may be possible to scratch the lock ring if used carelessly.

Excellent for the job!

I had previously mounted a YHM FreeFloat Tube with only a strap wrench and it took forever. I bought this and it is perfect for the job!
