BROWNELLS - Rifle/Handgun Master Facing/Chamfering Set W/Steel Pilots

I used this on a 9mm 1911 build from oversized, match grade parts. The barrel needed to be sized and then chamfered, but I was having trouble finding a 79 degree cutter big enough for the half inch thick 1911 barrel, and had issue figuring out what size "9mm" pilot really was, as many options had differing descriptions. This relatively complete kit was the best option to guarantee including any caliber I needed (".38 rev" is the 9mm Luger). It's easy to use, works well, and leaves a very clean finish (once sanded). One con is that the case is clearly a "one size fits all" case, so many of the slots are empty (for bigger/rifle kits?), but this is a pedantic complaint.

Some things about the Master Facing/Chamfer set: 1. Tools are very sharp and will remove flesh from fingers before you realize. Use caution when handling 2. Pilots work great 3. the goofy little handle provided is the only flaw/weakness about the entire set. No matter how careful I ended up with chatter marks. 4. I turned down a piece round stock to about .400" diameter about 1" long, drilled a #7 through entire length and tapped 1/4-20 through the hole. This was my homemade adapter for the tools to be used in a cordless drill. Worked flawlessly. Going to improve my tool by milling some flat spots for a wrench to grab onto as the adapter tightens itself against the tool. *Hint when using the adapter: do not stop the tool on the muzzle, pull it away slowly while the tool is in motion to prevent tooling marks.
