New Products from Bravo Company, Reptilia & True Precision

Author Paul Levy
Brownells new product team leader Paul Levy is back with a quartet of fresh items to show us, starting with Reptilia's Recc-E Carbine Stock for the AR-15. It's an all-in-one assembly that does the job of both a collapsible stock and an M4-type carbine buffer tube (receiver extension). Despite being quite slim, the Recc-E has a comfortably wide cheek rest that offers a constant cheekweld, unlike the typical carbine stock. When you extend the stock, the recoil pad slides to the rear but the cheekweld area stays put. Bearded fellows will be pleased at not getting their beards caught in the gap between the stock and the buffer tube.

Installation of the Recc-E stock is very simple, as Paul demonstrates. Reptilia marks the buffer tube and the retaining nut that locks the stock to it with specific torque settings, so you won't overtighten them. Other handy features include a QD sling swivel socket that can be positioned on either side of the stock and a rubber recoil pad that's contoured to sit comfortably in your shoulder pocket. This pad is not overly "grippy," so it won't snag on your clothing as you shoulder your rifle.

From Brownells itself, Paul has slides for the SIG P320. Like our extremely popular slides for Glock® pistols, we're offering these with cuts for factory "iron" sights or a mounting slot for red dot optics with the Trijicon RMR footprint. Available in a variety of lengths, with or without a window cut to show off the barrel.

Bravo Company's BCGunfighter AR-15 muzzle devices have standard 1/2"-28 tpi threads and come in eight "MODs" (variants) offering different combinations of compensation and flash suppression. They all have a small chamber at the rear with ports to direct some of the combustion gases up and/or to the sides to tame muzzle rise. Some have solid bottoms to prevent kicking up a dust signature when you're shooting prone, others have a solid top to keep the flash out of your line of sight, and there are both closed-prong and open-prong options. Some models also come with a pre-drilled hole to pin-and-weld the muzzle device to your rifle to hit the minimum 16" barrel length so you don't have to get an SBR tax stamp.

From True Precision we have stainless steel barrels for the Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro. You can get them with plain muzzles or threaded so you can install a compensator to tame your kitty. You can get your new Hellcat barrel in natural silver, Black Nitride, or True Precision's eye-catching gold Titanium Nitride (TiN) finish.
