New Products: Aero Precision, Bravo Company & Swampfox

Brownells new product team leader Paul Levy kicks off today's rundown with the Solus Bravo bolt action rifle from Aero Precision. This latest rifle in the Solus line comes with a KRG stock and is available chambered in .308 Winchester, 6mm Creedmoor, or 6.5 Creedmoor. It has a Ballistic Advantage barrel with a threaded muzzle (thread protector included), but the rest of the action is made entirely IN-HOUSE by Aero Precision. The Solus uses AICS-pattern magazines and comes with one 5-round Magpul 7.62 AC PMAG. An ambidextrous magazine release at the front of the triggerguard is easy to operate. The trigger itself has virtually no creep and a very crisp release. Out of the box, you can expect your Solus rifle to shoot 1/2" to 3/4" groups.

 

Like a lot of new bolt action platforms, the Solus is compatible with Remington 700 stocks and triggers, so if you want to make upgrades in the future, you have many options. Or maybe you want to build your own custom rifle? You can get Solus barreled actions or even just the action alone for custom builds. If you go that route, Aero Precision offers Solus-specific tools, including an Action Wrench, a Barrel Nut Wrench, and a set of Solus Vise Jaws made of non-marring polymer to secure the action in your bench vise while you work on it.
