My grandson and I used this to deprime 1000 once fired Lake City 5.56 brass. We did not have one issue and knocked em all out in a short amount of time. Would highly recommend.

Surprised its a Redding
Great idea for.Lapua 6.5 Creedmore. Good name, A typical quality product in appearance only. Good value. Now the important part: I feel this product is a waste of money! Bought the die, within 100 cases decapping pin broke. Must replace the entire punch assembly. Cost is half a new die. Got a replacement and exactly the same thing happened. So, now Ive got 2 broken punch assemblies and no small decapping die. I contend the punch design is poor. Upon pin breakage ( and it will fail) had to order, wait for replacement to arrive, and of course pay for it. I would not recommend this item, and will not buy another replacement part.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I didn't make it through 100 6BR brass before the pin fell out. The rod clips into the die, thus it wobbles. what a chunk of junk. I can't believe Redding would put junk like this on the market. Oh, you can't replace the pin -- you have to buy the whole rod. very poor design.
