What is the RCBS - NECK SIZER DIES?

Neck sizing dies size only the case neck of the cartridge - not the shoulder or the case body. Use neck dies when cases are fired in the same rifle and a close cartridge case to chamber fit is desired. The neck die will size the neck, decap the spent primer, then size for correct bullet tension with the expander ball. Neck dies come in an RCBS plastic die box and will fit all 7/8 to 14 reloading presses.

Neck sizer die.
I bought this to use in my Savage 10 tactical rifle which has a very tight chamber. By neck sizing I hope to squeeze a bit more accuracy out of it. Easy to use. RCBS hasnt let me down in over 4 decades of use.

Get one!!
Bought this one because a friend gave me 3,000 loaded 556 rounds that were questionable! I pulled all of them apart , neck sized only and reloaded with safe loads. This neck sizer worked like a charm since the rest of the cases were already small base die sized. Didnt use any lube either and it went very quick. Reloaded and everything is good to go. Great die for bolt action guns also. RCBS dies great as usual!!!
