LYMAN - Lyman Powder Pal Funnel Pan

Been using this for almost a year now load multiple calibers and don't have any problem with powder spilling.. Simple and does what it is intended to do well.

Just to add two cents on this tool, it comes in really handy on my bench. (it's that ONE tool you always seem to use) I use it to load powder in match rounds from .223 to .30 cal. I've loaded thousands of rounds and see no sign of it wearing out, stretching or otherwise degrading. It's especially handy to load from an electronic dispenser where you can take the powder charge directly off the scale and dump it straight into the brass in a single step. There is one issue I've run into and that is static charge in winter months because it's plastic. A simple solution is to wipe it all over with a dryer sheet before a loading session. Overall, I love this tool based on its performance, functionality and especially the price. It's been a great value to my reloading bench.

This is great for the electronic powder dispensors.No loading blocks necessary.Just pour directly into the case,return the pan to the dispensor(may need to add weight to the bottom to activate the auto dispense feature),seat your bullet and the loaded round goes directly into your ammo box.Your now ready to pour the next charge.

I was wanting a pan without the usual spout. That's why I ordered this one instead of the RCBS which is pictured with a spout. Today I received this Lyman and it has a spout. The one I received is the same Lyman part number that Brownells lists so I'm guessing Lyman made a design change. Looks like someone should update the photo. I think I can still use this one but it won't be as handy as I'd hoped.

I used this device to periodically check my 556 powder loads and it helped prevent spilling powder over my bench. Unfortunately the plastic eventually stretches and the neck of the brass extends to far into the funnel. It was a great device until it wore out. Didn't last but a few months.
