It's not flush and shows gaps
When i first bought this, I loved it as it's quicker to use this with the comparator body/insert. I watched a video a few weeks ago on the 6.5 Guys YouTube channel and they mentioned that this anvil base was not flush and they were not sure if they received a lemon. I checked mine and saw that it wasn't flush either. It's hard to notice unless you hold your calipers (with this anvil and the comparator/insert in place) in front of a light. Mine has a gap on one side no matter how I attach the anvil. it's very very tiny so it's impossible to notice without a light directly in front of it and since we are working with thousandths, this very small gap probably has screwed up my readings.
